2lt non Z51.......used......53,000.....I don't see them getting the 59 they are asking for it. I paid 68 for Z51 3lt brand new.

It has z51 and MSRC. Black whhels.

Without the GM certified I would not pay more than $54,000. I was in the same situation but my car was not certified .MSRP on my 2014 TR 3LT Z51 vert was $77,625 I bought the car which had 4800 miles on it for $61,500. Good luck.

Personally, I would do a 2015, this same car can be had for around $64k brand new with the A8. |
I agree, however that MSRC is so tempting.

Tell them you don't want the certification and buy it for $54,000 you probably still have about 2 years left on the bumper to bumper warranty anyway and that would be a $10,000 dollar savings over a new identical 2015 C7 that can be bought for $64,000 and yes the MSRC is nice. TORCH RED RULES!

Did that. Certification is only $395 so no brainer to keep.

Few grand more you can get a new one, that is what I would do.

It is a Z51 and $59k is on the high end but not out of line of its condition is good and it has a transferable extended warranty.

$56k - estimated selling price

I know where there is a brand new 2014 TR convertible setting on a showroom floor that was delivered last August which would make it among the last built for 2014, and very reasonably priced. Pm me and I'll give you the contact information.

I have to ask...What is the Kerbeck discount? Are there any conditions that need to be met to receive it? E.g., GM employee, GM supplier. |

I have to ask...What is the Kerbeck discount? Are there any conditions that need to be met to receive it? E.g., GM employee, GM supplier. My local dealer came very close to a Kerbeck deal on my 15. Sticker was a shade under 70k and I paid less than 64k. It was before the recent price increase. I had a trade this time and Kerbeck does not really offer good money for trades. To the OP, I think 59k for that used car is a little high. 5k more and you can get a brand new one. |
My answer is keep doing research.
You know in your heart that you question the value of the deal at $59K. You wouldn't have asked otherwise. My two cents are find the deal you are comfortable with and don't worry about what others think about it. Take time and do LOTS of research, and when you have done that you will always know a good deal when you come across it. Even though these cars are a tremendous deal, in my opinion, for most of us they are MAJOR purchases. Taking time will pay off in the long run and hopefully make you a satisfied owner. Again, all of us have opinions about these things, and unfortunately consensus is nearly impossible to attain. In my purchase I didn't even consider the used market (just isn't in my DNA to buy used cars), so I can only comment on the new car market. There are many dealers in the mid-west and east coast at offer cars everyday below MSRP with no strings attached. Several are sponsors on this forum. I'm lucky, I got the GM Employee discount so once I found a local dealer that would honor it, the negotiation was done for me. Most of the dealerships back east that are advertising new car discounted prices do so at close to the GM supplier discount (~9-10% below MSRP). My guess would be the used car market also has similar deals. Good luck! I hope you find the deal that makes you happy. |
