Yesterday I finally was able to get what I wanted as our shop car .

Order placed with Doug Cameron @ Scherer Chevrolet in Kitchener for the first one of 2 Z06 allocations .

Daytona Sunrise Orange Z07 packaged 8spd auto .

Nice colour! I'm guessing a little tweaking on that stock Z06 could easily make it perform a lot better & Arun tune of course.

New technology Pat , I want the 8 spd to see what we can do with it . The 8 spd auto from I am hearing is faster that the 7 spd :thumbs:

Besides I already have a stick convertible car :thumbs:

I know that the modern automatics are faster than a manual in the quarter mile, but I would just miss letting out the clutch and rowing through the gears too much :)

No they are not.

then they won t shift as fast as led to believe maybe

Agreed! Oh well....

Auto maybe quicker, but it takes away from the driving experience, and enjoyment. I don't care if the auto is .45 seconds around the track because we aren't professional drivers!

Thanks Tony , pretty excited . First new Corvette for me and the fact that I got to have it built exactly like I want is very cool .

2016 builds start in June , not that I expect see it in June or July ...still would be nice to get time in the seat :D
