Do you own and wear driving gloves?

How many in this forum wear them? The traditional leather ones with knuckle holes and snap closures. I've always owned a pair or two for as along as I've been driving and wear them often.

Vetteman Jack 04-24-2015 03:54 AM

Do not own a pair thus do not wear them.

guido7834 04-24-2015 06:47 AM

Driving gloves? Surely you jest...

Phanni 04-24-2015 07:19 AM

Do you put your ball cap on backwards too?

bentonbobcat 04-24-2015 07:24 AM

Never would:willy:

calvins 04-24-2015 07:43 AM

This is a joke, right? Driving gloves?!?

DevilDog II 04-24-2015 07:44 AM

I lost the use of my left hand in Vietnam, so I can't wear gloves. I wear driving mittens. I do wear a glove when I work in the yard. If anyone's interested, I have about 20 brand new left-hand work gloves that have never been worn. :D

Never have on the street or the track.

Why yes, that with driving shoes, driving scarf, driving goggles, driving hat, driving jacket, driving pants, and let's not forget the driving foundation all great drivers start with....driving underwear.

Brand specific of course, or you shouldn't be in another brands vehicles. :crazy2:

Thank you, I have looked and looked, even on EBAY and could not find where to purchase a backwards ball cap!

No problem. You can make your own pretty easily. Just carefully cut the bill off using a utility knife and re-attach on the back side using an industrial strength adhesive.

Hmmmmmm! How about just a "beanie" with Velcro sewn all the way around the outer edge. That way you can attach the bill where ever you want and could wear it the correct way, backwards, and side-to-side. An optional second bill would give you that Sherlock Holmes look. Just sayin'. :D

I do on the track. Stock wheel gets slippery when my hands start sweating from the fun.

These help with joint pain from old age and abuse. they are thin making it easy to use buttons and controls, work fine in hot or cold weather. Yes a Corvette hat, shirt, and jacket are required I am told.
