bcm question

Can I replace my bcm out of a 1997 Corvette with a newer style one (2000-2004)? It is a reman un programmed one.

If you get a 01-04 BCM I do think you will need to get the matching RFA and TPM sensors.

If you decide to do it and need the two BCM pin outs I can provide that.

Bcm

Thanks for all your help, Im aware that it needs to be reprogramed which can can have a dealership do it. I was getting mixed reviews if the 2001-04 would work. I ended up ordering one and im wondering can i install it do the relearn and get the rpo programed with out issues? That would be awesome if you could get me those pin outs. Is that required? Again thanks for all your help guys.

I can get you the 97 and whatever year BCM you got. PM me with your email since they will be PDFs.

Do you know how to swap pins/terminals? If not, go to an LMC5 eBay ad and look at the video there to learn how.

If you need help later with the RFA let us know. Cultrag can provide you with the newer unit and TPM sensors. We can help to make sure you get it wired correctly. Yours now has 4 wires and you will be going to 3.

I'd bet not. If the later RFA will work in the early cars then the early RFA will work in the later cars.
