Introducing Social Media Embeds
The tech team at Internet Brands has been working to improve your experience while using Corvetteforum. Here's an IB announcement with the details:
We're excited to announce that you can now embed a variety of social media right inside your forum posts! From videos to photos to statuses, simply including a link from select online services will automatically make the content fully visible right here on Corvetteforum. The list of supported services includes Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Vine, Twitter and Google Maps, as well as GIF Video (.gifv) files already hosted online. Using the new embed options is as simple as adding a link in your forum post. No special BBCode is required! For example, sharing a link to a specific Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or Vine post such as... ...will display like so: Facebook Post You can also share a Google Map of a specific area just by pasting the URL from Google Map's "Share Map" option in your post. For example, a link like this... ...displays like this: Plus, YouTube videos will continue to be playable from right inside forum posts as they always have. We hope you enjoy these new features! |

I hope I'm in the right place........:D
I posted a couple vids on youtube long ago, (8 min video's). But never could get them to corvette forum. Another guy here moved it to off topic for me... So now, I have a very cool vid of our radio control 1930 waco biplane with the cam in the pilot's seat, panning right and left as I bank. All at 400', then at eye level. (so realistic). Problem now is A) Won't go to youtube. Say's It's not a correct file. B) So I try to directly post to off topic, using the little box marked insert image. No go. Say's image is to big. So, is there a box for video I can click? You may have to walk me thru this. Thanks guys. Ramair_bryan in calif. GO TRUMP......... |
You simply need to copy the URL (link) of the video on YouTube and paste that URL (link) inside your message when posting.
You cannot upload videos to CorvetteForum directly. So you must hot-link them, as described above.
