C6 z06 r7s 315s on front

Anyone running Hoosier r7 315s on the front of there c6 z06.. Any rubbing ride hight ?? Currently running with a6 315s heard that the new r7 are wider was wondering if anyone has tried this set up yet

brenb 06-05-2015 07:10 PM

There's no size difference.

Devens08 06-05-2015 07:42 PM

Really I heard that they are more squared off than before and makes them wider and some people are having issues but that was with smaller sized tires also

brenb 06-05-2015 08:01 PM

Word is that the smaller sizes <245 saw a change with the molds.

Laying the 315 side by side I couldn't see any difference.

Perfect thanks for the info and it was people who had miatas at the track that were saying they saw a size difference so I would assume they were less than 245

No rubbing with stock ride height.

Devens08 06-06-2015 03:02 PM

What is stock ride hight at front and rear jacking points

strano@stranoparts.com 06-10-2015 02:16 AM

Yeah, they'll rub the brake ducts near/at full lock but nothing else unless you have a lot of caster. And BrenB said it, no difference in size. I have both, compared them mounted and unmounted both. Shaped differently, and we aren't using Miata sizes.

Devens08 06-10-2015 07:02 AM

Yeah I am running on the outside though so you think I may have to much caster

strano@stranoparts.com 06-10-2015 02:34 PM

rubbing on the outside? Oh you don't have any negative camber added to the car I guess. I do. :)

Devens08 06-10-2015 03:46 PM

Yeah I have some negative camber how do you per side because I was confused on this if you say 2.5 degrees negative camber is that total or is that per side?
