Can anyone recommend a good one?

You can make a custom mount to attach to the seat mounting Where ever make sure you can reach it in seconds from the drivers seat

Happy 4th to you. I have one with a Velcro bracket, I stick it behind the passenger seat. Easy access and it stays put. A friend of mine gave it to me for x-mas years ago.

Vette Works, a CF sponsor, sells brackets.

I have one in my ‘67

It attaches to the two front seat hold-down bolts, so no drilling new holes.

:iagree:I have two of them with velcro strips. They are tucked in snugly, behind each seat. The velcro adheres to the carpet very tight, so there is no chance of them rolling around, and the best part, there are no hole's to drill, they are out of sight, and you have very fast access to them in an emergency.

:iagree:That's exactly where I have mine. No holes and no interference with the seat adjustment.
