For those of you that live along the I-75 corridor from Toledo to Cinci, how bad is the construction? Any areas in particular that are most congested ? Any sections of the road not corvette friendly? We'll be heading down to BG on Friday morning and wanted to plan for any extended delays.

Toledo was a mess a few weeks ago when we went to MidOhio. Typical Oiho. ;)

There are several areas of ongoing construction within the I-275 loop in the Cincinnati metro area. As usual, the Brent-Spence bridge on I-75 southbound is still the abysmal bottleneck it's always been, especially at rush hour and worst of all, Friday afternoons. If you hit it anytime from 2:30-3 o'clock on, expect long delays. Compounding the problem is that the Caroll Cropper bridge on the west side bypass loop of I-275 in Indiana is also under construction with long delays to be expected southbound at rush hour.
I've lived in this area all my life and been driving since the mid-60s and have NEVER seen roads in such a mess in SW Ohio. Once you get south of the Greater Cincinnati metro area, the roll to BG on I-71 through Louisville and I-65 to points south are easy. |

We'll probably hit the Cinci area around 1:30. My plan is for us to take I-275E bypass and back to 71 on the south side of cinci.

I was down to Piqua a couple of weeks ago and it wasn't bad. From Toledo to Findlay is under construction, but the it was still two lanes, and no real issues, lots of sections with the trucks in the left lane. The Lima area is pretty much done, road is very nice. No knowledge about the Dayton/Cinci area though.

Thanks for the tip. You gonna show up to any local events this year ? Or do we only get to see you on TV at the auto show ? Lol.
