C7 Wide Body Conversion Kits

Packed tight - that's one way to describe GM's use of space in the rear of the C7 Corvette. If you're one of those guys looking to put some more meat on the ground, then you'll quickly realize that GM made use of every inch of space between the fenders and frame rail. Short of buying a new Z06 - there's not any other method to get more rubber tucked inside the fenders.

Until now……. The designers at ACS have been working diligently since the introduction of the Stingray Corvette to offer a solution to this dilemma. The new ACS Wide Body Conversion Package includes everything you need to "stretch" the rear of your base model Corvette - making it possible to get those factory 20 x 12" wheels or even custom 20 x 13" (from the likes of CCW or Forgeline) inside the fenders.

The complete package includes RTM rear quarters, fender extensions, inner fender liners, and quarter ducts. Everything needed for a factory style conversion.

ACS's C7 Corvette body panels are manufactured using RTM (Resin Transfer Molding) technology, which creates an OEM quality Corvette part. Fiberglass is injected into a mold and then compressed under high pressure. This manufacturing method creates a panel that is smooth on both sides with a consistent thickness across the entire surface. The controlled fiberglass/resin composition of RTM, reduces cure times and eliminates the possibility of "wet" parts being removed from the mold prematurely. All of which is impossible with the standard hand laid process. Panels are then trimmed using a CNC robotic water jet for a clean, smooth cut on every part. The result is better fitting panel, reducing body shop installation and fitment times.

Note: Conversion kits available with smooth style rocker extension or Z06 style rocker extension.

How much wider is this than the stock rear end?

40mm just like a new ZO6. You can use a stock offset ZO6 wheel with it.

Just Wow, I do like that. Now if they came pre painted it would be even better...

No, the panels are too big for that. They would have about a 99% chance of not matching your car. You are much better off letting a body shop paint and blend so that they are perfect and it looks factory.

Can you use the OEM Z06 Rear Bumper Cover instead of the small fender extensions with reflectors in them?
