Z06 vs Italia Speciale (Vid inside)

This is my Z06 vs my friend Speciale, this "Special Edition" Itlalias can move

Wheelspin and I have a passenger in both races but it was a lot of fun (Race took place in a airport)

PureAdrenaline 08-16-2015 10:32 AM

Looks like a pretty even race minus wheel spin against a world class $275K car...nice:woohoo:

OnPoint 08-16-2015 10:35 AM

Cool.

It'll get even harder in the next few months when the 488 arrives.

No lift shift the vette and change PTM mode to race mode could of been a even closer race.

Nice run against a incredible car

It was a little wet so I left the PTM in Sport, and I was power shifting... The "gap" between gears was traction kicking in because of the sport mode and not race mode.

After watching vids and seeing time slips of the A8, it really makes me wonder how much of a difference it would make? Any one think the A8 would have taken the Ferrari?

No I race my Friend A8 and I was less that a car in front of his car the hole time... I don't know why some say that A8 are quicker that the 7M in roll race

I think it's because there are videos of the A8 beating the hellcat and the Viper and the opposite with the M7. Either way, there are so many different variables to consider for each race. In my opinion the M7 would be a lot of fun to drive  but the A8 would be easier to launch out of the box.

I'm still stuck between both transmissions and just wish I could own one of each!

Wet and these cars dont go very well indeed.

Something I want to clarify that you are not in PTM. Be sure once you double push the traction control button while on track suspension and steering mode. The screen with show PtM menu. Scroll over to either wet, dry, sport1, sport2, or race. Dont push any thing once you highlight the one you want.

Many people think they are in PTm just by turning the dial and many think they are still in ptm when the push the button to select their ptm mode. Best way to verify is to noticed both the stability and traction control lights on.

Also notice on you ptm mode will look like this when in any ptm mode.

Thanks for the info but I know the difference ;)
I just leave the car in S and not change it to Tr, also leave the traction control and stability control on... So the car was very safe to drive hard 😎

Wow! 10.7 s @ 135, you'd think that he would be walking you??

keagan 08-16-2015 01:19 PM

You did good, considering that Italia trap speed of 135. Sheesh, those things are a good match for the Huracan.
