These came in today and I have to say for 230.00 bucks shipped i'm impressed. Now I didn't go cheap on everything :D the Ported fast 92 setup should be here tomorrow.

Interesting. I had an off-brand header on a different vehicle and it was fine, though it did start to rust. Suggest have it ceramic coated - though that might double the price!

Antz97znj 08-26-2015 04:08 PM

Well this is stainless steel, im not sure of the grade but nonetheless.

Typically its the install that is a PITA and modification is required. Keep us posted when install happens.

joining in on the fun

That's more like it

The only reason other headers are so much more money is because its vette, these are probably not much better or worse then the others.

They look nice... what mid pipe to they mate up to?

Vetteman Jack 08-26-2015 09:36 PM

:iagree: will look for your report on how the install goes. Just from the pics they look pretty good.

I just installed similar ones on Monday. They are by a company called top speed pro one. They look identical to the Monza and went in with ZERO issue and the sound amazing.

Those look great, especially for the price!

Subscribing for the install feedback. Look good in the pics though.

SuperTom 08-26-2015 11:42 PM

looks like plenty of clearance. Did they go in from the top or bottom?

Very interested in the question also!

Looks..looks...looks ..not as important as performance. Keep us
informed.

Monza also sells a matching x-pipe for around the same price as the headers.

There the same headers, Topspeed just sells them, although I found them from an Ebay vendor way cheaper.

:iagree: I'd be concerned with that huge all at once 4 into 1 merge and neck down before the collector. Would like to see some legit before and after numbers on these.

Antz97znj 08-27-2015 12:59 PM

Im not concerned, I wasn't about to spend $1500 on set of headers and an xpipe nor am I tryng to break any horsepower records. I'm sure they're way better then those manifolds.

:iagree:

ESPECIALLY for the price!!

Fastbird 08-27-2015 06:17 PM

The manifolds on our cars are actually deceptively good. Back in the day I went from bone stock to LG Pro Long Tubes, no cats, Corsa exhaust, Callaway Honker CAI, Powerbond Underdrive Pulley, and a 160* thermostat. Saw a whopping 24 RWHP gain, then another 16 RWHP after tuning.

Point is you may or may not see a lot initially. But the further down the road you go, the more gains you'll see (cam, heads/cam, FI) until you find the restriction point on them.
