"Modded" a&a bracket

So I have the cartel flip drive and the newer a&a vortex have bracket. I saw that some people use just the top half and not the bottom half. So when I do that I have the crank pulley, the water pump pulley, the supercharger pulley, and the sliding pulley. My question is, how tight do you guys make the sliding pulley? Do you tighten the belt as much as you can or do you "torque" the belt?

people cut the bottom half of the bracket off to use a different tensioner... in my opinion I wouldn't do it as the other tensioner can cause more problems than it's worth... get a hd tensioner from a&a and you should be fine

My bracket is already a 2 piece bracket so there is no cutting. And what tensioner?

I would still use a&a's hd tensioner

You can do it.
