Any updates on fluid specs since 2015?

How is the car shifting with the Redline D4 fluid you used when you changed the Trans and Diff fluid a while back?
Any issues since then with the Trans or Diff?

Are you still using Redline D4 fluid? Are you still liking it? Is it still the correct spec for our M7 trans? Have you found any better fluid you like better?

I am still using the Redline D4 ATF and am on my 2nd fill of it with the car now at 37k miles. Shift quality remains superior to how the car rolled off the dealer's lot when it was brand new! This remains the correct spec fluid for our M7 transmissions.

Interesting - Tremec says the Z06 ratios, which presumably are in the ZR1 is only rated to 635 ft-lbs of torque.

stupid question. the damn spec sheet even says "ATF" am i to assume thats not a typo? im wanting to change the trans fluid in my car, with a whole 2500 miles on it, but.. yeah. strangely, the first few pages of search results = a bit dry.

I only have 400 mi on my car the shifting is VERY Notchy !!! is that why ?????????

I'm not doubting your word however Redline says on their website that it is NOT recommended for a Corvette.What Say You ????

Yes, you need ATF. Around the Forum you'll see some use Redline, Amsoil, stock fluids only etc... take your pick. Many have had good reports with Redline or Amsoil in reducing the notchy feeling sometimes felt when shifting.

Nominal torque rating. Max torque rating is that number x1.5.

From this very web site it says it IS recommended for an M7 transmission.

In one review of the ZR-1 it was stated that the car pulls power in 1st gear (maybe others, don't recall) to protect the transmission.

Redline D4 ATF fluid is the proper transmission fluid for all C7 M7 manual transmissions. 44k miles and on my 3rd fill of it now.
