RPM/AI LS7 heads- Hinson mounts
 

I will be doing the full bolt ons, B3 cam, heads and tune looking for 600-630rwhp. RPM has the package available and I am the average working guy so I will have to order parts as I am able.

All I can say is RPM and Phil from AI have been great to deal with. Quick replies, advice and follow up. I do all my own work and I am about 30 minutes south of Atlanta, Ga so if any of you guys want help, let me know.

I am done already and I'll upload all the pics over the next day or so. I started on Friday evening and finished Sunday afternoon about 2pm, not a single issue. Running stock GM gaskets FYI-

I realize the back side of the filter is about useless with the shroud there just resting on it. I've got an idea for that and I'll show you what I mean when I do it this week.

I didn't have the time for a step by step install, just thought to share and encourage you guys to tear into them if you're able.

Whats your pushrod length?

Compression ratio?

I don't want to give too much info since it's RPM specs but usually target is 11.9-12.1 I believe. I am running 7.75 but I am going to confirm exact length this week with my checker, just have not had time.

You said full bolt ons, but it looks like you reinstalled the stock manifolds. Might be a bit tough to hit 600+ on those! :P

Yes, long tubes will be next but I may just get the cam, long tubes, 102 TB and the FAST/MSD and the underdrive balancer and knock it all out one weekend and just have Vengeance tune it once and for all- :thumbs:

Any flow numbers on the heads?

I agree 530 with that set up, to get 600 plus range on reg gad is hard e85 or race gas you will get there and high compression and methanol kit installed...good luck.

I got the same setup from AI himself. I'm at 12.0 with 7.75 intake and 7.750 for the exhaust pushrods. I was just checking making sure I did everything right. :cheers:

That's an old thread I posted on there still dont see a car making that on pump gas...good luck.. Hope your adding headers or some type of exhaust upgrade and intake and electric water pump to free up 130 plus horsepower...517 630 is a big jump fi would be easier....and do able...

Fact is you are not going to make more tq and HP using LS7 castings of AI's 280cc ultimate max version. Dyno and E.T proven over and over. My heads were that pretty when I got them back as well. The CNC port work is immaculate.

I know your original post is from 2015. Doesn't matter. The only way you might get a bit more is Mamo TFS.. but that's apples to oranges and other variables obviously. Nice number! You got it all for bolt on's NA and a heavy hitting parts list. :cheers:

This is the combo for the LS7 that the G6X3/TFS 225 is for the LS2/3 -

AI FTW. If I had to go back to NA I would be throwing a set of AI heads on.

Hell, my car made 580rwhp 6 years ago with heads never off the car, no fancy intake, nothing but a solid cam/tune/headers. Amazing how many people struggle to get even there with the advancements these days.

Is that on pump gas or e85 I'm confused.....if its on pump gas you are probably the only person ever that has done that anywhere. I know on e85 and 13-0-1 compression it has been done with a lot of mods...either way enjoy the car in still almost done with my build....5 months and counting....see what it traps on the track....Ok I see its pump gas, just read the list..what is the details on the cam split duration overlap I have asked Fran before but no answer which is fine, so like others that are trying to achieve 600 plus there is really no info on here since everything is kept hush hush either way as long as your happy enjoy the car....

My last heads and cam was close to 600 but this time I'm running Darins heads again matched with an Msd intake last setup was on a ported stocker.....I will be running stock Tb with my ported msd just for giggles and see what it makes then straight to the track....

Thinking of electric water pump also I dont know if its worth it some people say 15hp increase thoughts on that...
