VIN information

Is there somewhere i can plug in my VIN # to see what my car came out of the factory with?

Look inside the glove box

All of the RPO codes are listed in the glove box.

This VIN decoder also seems to work pretty well (not 100% sure of its accuracy though).

RPO codes in the glove box are definitely the best way - like everyone else already said.

Easiest/fastest way is what others have said: check the label in the glovebox.

The VIN *by itself* doesn't have any individual options encoded in it beyond model (coupe, conv, Z06, GS, ZR1), engine, trim level (1LT, 2LT, etc), and transmission.

Using your VIN, a GM Dealer *can* run a report query to a GM database -- that db contains option information for every C6 ever built, and it will spit out every factory option your particular car came with, along with other interesting info such as in-service date, build date, any recalls, any GM-performed service work, etc. Some dealers will charge for this, some will do it for free.

Go to the Corvette Museum website. For a reasonable fee they will send you a copy of the window sticker and the build sheet. Just provide your VIN. Well worth it.

I tried it with my VIN but it's pretty generic ... has the trim level and associated equipment, but doesn't have any options that were ordered. Doesn't even have the vehicle color. So it's not very useful.
