Two colors getting buildout weeks usually means they are going away

Just my educated guess but Build out dates for Night Race Blue is 11/12 and Daytona Sunrise Orange is 12/17 usually signifies those colors are going away. Next week for 11/12 I can order 18 Z06's and 42 Stingray/Z51's. I will be at Spring Mountain Race Track Sunday the 8th-11th. Call my desk direct line today/Saturday or next Thursday the 12th to place your order.

It's a shame if they drop Daytona Sunrise Orange from the available colors. It's a beautiful color, but then again I don't know how many cars have been ordered in that color either.

Not surprised with orange as for 2015 it was the slowest seller and it has sold even less in 2016.
NRB is also a slow seller, and it has had a 5 model year run, including C6's. I expect we will get a new shade of darker blue. |

They did not start delivering DSOM until November 2014 and I believe less than 1,500 were sold in 2015 model year. It's a beautiful color and with Brownstone interior :rock: |
Sad to hear about DSOM.
I would (maybe) have waited a year and gotten that instead of the LRG (which I love), if I had known it was coming down the pipeline, and had the patience to wait a year for my Stingray. Definitely with a Brownstone interior. I always wanted an orange Vette! :yesnod: |

Maybe a solid color orange like the Monaco Orange on '69's would appeal to more buyers? The recent metallic oranges have been too subtle in my opinion and depending on the sunlight do not really appear to be 'orange'. Even a Lambo type bright orange metallic would be more of a "in your face" color. Same with blue-I would prefer a basic 'dark blue' like the Daytona Blue of '63-'64. It will be interesting to see what GM comes up with as replacements.
