Your very first mods - what were they?
 

Picked up my ride Saturday and thanks to this forum have some initial mods that must be accomplished right away. Can you share what you did? Ill go for HP later but initially here is what I want changed. All cosmetic initially - think this bill will never end:)

1 Window tint (done)
2. Clear Bra
3. Somehow hide those annoying McDonalds arches front and back
4. Valve stem on black wheels is a sore thumb - needs fixed.
5. Floor Mats that compliment my ride....

Side skirts, clear bra, intake, stage 2 or 3 aero, blend mount for V1, tint, corsa X pipe.

Stage 2 body kit (mine was ordered with no aero because of constraints) + Escort Redline radar detector.

Happy to help! If you haven't bought one yet I'd recommend looking at the new Escort Max 360. It's more expensive and isn't as sensitive as the Redline (as far as I've read) but it's got arrows to let you know where the signal is coming from. Extremely useful, wish I had that feature on the Redline!

Window tint (sop for Florida) and painted the Z06 lettering on the rims to match the caliper paint. No plans to do anything else.

Oh yeah, some mats as the stock one are pretty pathetic.

How is ported TB I was told no tune??

Any real improvement in throttle response??

I have around 2500 miles on my 2016 and she is in hibernation right now. This spring I plan on getting a ProCharger and American Racing headers and a intake put on. Oh, I also have to have the Akrapovic exhaust with the carbon fiber tips because I had it on my 2013 Z06 and it sounds awesome. I hoping to be around 900rwhp..

I just installed it last night so no real test. but so far a definite improvement in throttle, very crisp.

Not trying to hijack the thread - quick question - what type of paint, name, etc. did you guys use to paint the Z06 on your wheels? I like that mod and painting the stems as well.

I would LOVE to do that as well, but the bottom of my splitter barely makes it over the apex of my darn driveway. I had lowered my C6 and it made a big difference...meaner looking.
