***Reduced*** F/S 1996 Corvette with LT4 engine, 6 speed ZF, and 110k miles, $8500
Mods:
K&N intake Borla exhaust removed saggy headliner History: Bought the car in 2012, when it had 90k miles. I am the third owner (I think), and I was told it had been garaged previously. Since having it, I have had it garaged most of the time. Barely worn Continental ExtremeContact DW tires installed in 2014, but the front-right tire-pressure sensor got mauled on tire installation. I might try to sue the dealer in small claims, but I've never done that. New parts: accessory belt rear wheel bearing assemblies clutch slave cylinder KYB adjust-a-shocks (not yet installed) new headliner materials (not yet installed) https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...da21bc18ed.jpg |
Lt-1
Is it an LT-4 or and LT-1 With an LT-4 engine? Also, where is the car located?
thanks, tankengine |
It is not a GS, but does have the LT4 engine (higher revving, increased power, etc.). I am located in West TN. Any more questions?
|
All 6 speed 96s were LT4s
Any interior pics? |
What town in West TN? I grew up in Paris.
Can you email me more pics including engine and interior grmfarm@gmail.com? Thanks, Keith |
Hi, yes I'll try to get more pics up soon. I've been busy moving from Jackson to Memphis
|
Please post a picture of the RPO sticker from under the glove box and let me know when you're done moving. TIA

Re: Borla Q
There is some droning, but I'd consider it minor. The car cruises pretty quietly in 6th at 75mph. If you're not cruising, it sounds great!

I would love it for this car to go to a good home. It's still available, but now 8000!

Still available?
Hey,
I'm guessing that this car is still available since it appeared at the top of the for sale postings and had today's date on the post but the older dates were from 2016 and before. Has it ever been wrecked or is it rebuilt? Did you do the carpeting job yourself in the hatch area? Has anything else been done that is on the list as having the material but not done yet? And don't bother with small claims court, at least in Oklahoma the things you can be reimbursed for are very limited, you might get the replacement cost of the tire air valve but not extra things such as pain and suffering etc. It would be better if you could get that dealer or business to replace the part and let it go at that, at least over here is how it would be best, I know the law is different everywhere. I'd be interested in finding out more about it, is the headliner still not done? Any newer pictures other than those from 2016? I've inquired about a couple of cars on the listed for sale but have yet to hear back, not my day for replies I guess, lol. Good luck with the sale also! Thanks very much, |
Hey Bostock, I sent you a pm also. The car is still available, never wrecked or rebuilt. I haven't done anything with the carpet. The headliner is not done, but I still have the materials. The photos are accurate to it's present condition, but can send any pics of special areas if you want.
Best regards, |
