INJEN EVO7200 AND EVO7201 FOR THE 2014-15 CORVETTE C7 and 2015 CORVETTE C7 Z06 6.2L

The C7 Corvette was classed in many reviews as “ a top-tier sports car at a fraction of the going rate,” that far outclassed its C6 predecessor. The C7's LT1 6.2L Small Block V-8 engine develops 455 horsepower (339 kW) and 460 pound-feet (620 N·m) torque, which can accelerate the Corvette from 0-60 mph in 3.8 seconds. That’s quite a few horses under the hood delivering a lot of power.

But frankly, Injen makes it better.

We have designed and developed the EVO7200 (ABOVE) for the 2014-15 Corvette C7 and the EVO7201 for its supercharged cousin, the 2015 Corvette C7 Z06. Each of these intakes in our Evolution Air Induction Series delivers significant horsepower and torque gains with an easy-to-install system 3-D designed and tested for perfect OEM fitment.

Like all of our products in the Evolution line, the EVO7200 and EVO7201 (ABOVE) are designed using the latest CMM Laser Scanning hardware, and SolidWorks 3D CAD software. All prototypes are printed on one of our state of the art 3D printers, and then they are extensively tested on our in house Dyno.

Evolution Intakes are Injen Technology’s newest state of the art induction kits made of rotomolded cross linked high density polyethylene for superior quality and durability. Our rotomolded intake boxes are designed to incorporate the largest dry filter on the market. The SuperNano Web Fiber filter utilizes a micro fiber web on the surface, in order to capture airborne contaminants.

The new EVO air intakes come with stainless steel hardware and automotive grade urethane couplers. Best of all they install easily and increase the horsepower and torque over a stock air box.

The style and look of these massive induction kits is very impressive and their functionality is second to none. Everything is completely done in house - in Pomona California. Injen is dedicated to the principle of Made in the USA!

The Injen Evolution Cold Air Intake System is designed to install easily with just basic hand tools. No extra modifications or special tools are required for proper installation. All necessary parts and instructions are included. Unlike other Cold Air Intakes on the market for the Corvette, the Injen Evolution CAI does not require a computer re-tune. The engineers at Injen designed, tuned, and dyno-tested this cold air intake to improve your Stingray’s power using the stock factory tune.

Remember - The Inen Evolution line of air intake systems are:

- Dyno tuned as a System for GUARANTEED safe horsepower and torque gains.
- Officially the largest SuperNano-Web dry filter on the market.
- The first stand-alone air filter chamber for ample on-demand air supply.
- Sleek and sexy design lines for unmatched looks under your hood.
- Built with the first built-in filter minder for quick, easy and accurate filter inspection.
- Designed and built in the USA from cross-linked polyethylene for outstanding durability and heat insulation.
- Durable stainless steel hardware and automotive grade hose couplers included.
- The perfect OE fitment; just drop into the original mounting points, fasten clamps, and drive away!
- Designed and manufactured with pride in the USA.

Injen Evolution Air Induction systems can really enhance your Stingray’s performance, but let’s get down to the numbers. How much horsepower and torque gains do they really provide? Below are the actual Dyno tests for the C7 and the C7 Z06.

" ...2014-15 Corvette C7 and the EVO7201 for its turbocharged cousin, the 2015 Corvette C7 Z06."

I'm pretty sure the 2016 Z06 is supercharged. I don't know about the 2015. I was drunk all last year.

I had an Injen for my 128i coupe and loved it. Interested in this, do you have any sound clips??

Thanks!

Would you mind explaining how that little gauge on the airbox works?

CGZO6 01-22-2016 05:47 PM

It's a vacuum gage. Shows the pressure drop behind the filter as compared to the air in front of the filter. Lets you know your filter is dirty and isn't flowing as well as it should. That's just my WAG.

Sorry to revive a really old thread, but I just found this product. Since the location of the filter didn't change, as you would in most CAI, the temperature of the air will not change. So what causes this to gain more HP than say just a swap of a K&N filter?

@ amphora001
With the tuned MAF section, we can tune the fuel trims and air fuel ratios for increased volume and minimize restriction for increased horsepower. A drop in filter alone can cannot achieve this.
