FS [VA]: 2005 C6 Z51, Manual, Machine Silver, 46900 miles, $21,750

Excellent condition, low mileage (47,900), 2005 Corvette Coupe (removable top) with Z51 Handling Package. From the factory, this includes upgraded suspension, transmission oil cooler, differential oil cooler, C6R floor mats. Tires are brand new, and all service records are available. GM Personal Audio Link (PAL) allows connectivity with iPhone or other device with auxiliary input so you can stream your own music.

TR6060 RPM Stage V Manual 6-speed transmission (http://www.rpmtransmissions.com/page35.html --- this includes cryo tempering and bronze fork pads on all gears incl. reverse, hand fit sliders and hubs, media blasted case, new OEM blocking rings, micropolishing, bronze shifter bushing, ZR1 oil pickup tube), Navigation System, leather seats with seat heaters, Satellite radio, Bose sound system.

Corsa cat back exhaust, Vararam Intake, new ZR1 clutch and flywheel, 2008 Z06 rear limited slip differential. [a known problem with the 2005 vette was the rear diff carrier was weak and would break. GM knew this and upgraded the unit in the following year, the Z06 unit is a stronger version of what the 2008 base models came with] The transmission, diff, and clutch work was done at Zip Corvette, all documentation is included.

This is an extremely potent and well sorted car in excellent shape - inside, outside, mechanically, everything. You will not be disappointed. I've cared for it well, and it is not my daily driver. Carfax is clean, the car has never been in an accident, and I own the car outright, title in hand.

It's ready for engine modifications for those that want to do that.

Those are some nice drivetrain upgrades done professionally with paperwork too.

This is a very nice Machine Silver C6.

Bump for you.

No internal engine mods, I call a 400 hp car extremely potent, and the Z51 package well sorted. I think they did a hell of a job with this car.

The driveline upgrades were because of a problem with the transmission that caused it to fail. I had a "while I'm in there" moment, and decided to upgrade the tranny instead of putting in a stock one, and knowing that there's a potential issue with the rear diff on the '05 cars, I upgraded that along with the package for ease of mind. I got a good deal from Zip with higher end components and decided to pull the trigger.
