Driving Gloves

I know, I know, a rather controversial subject. Not sure if this should be here or in the "tech" section so I will see how this goes. As I did a search and produced a long list of threads that have entirely nothing to do with driving gloves, I thought I would ask. Are any of you using them out there and what brand do you recommend. No budget restrictions, just looking for a good, high quality pair. As I have the black leather wheel with white stitching, I would like too keep it looking nice and also eliminate that slight tacky/sticky feeling of the wheel after driving for a bit. Thanks for your time and let the bashing begin...

i have never used gloves myself but after seeing a photo of Zora Duntov's gloves, I've been looking for a pair like his.

No. I think I would try to match the color on my tutu.

I keep my MF one, and my leather ONES in the glove box. I think I am the only one to do so.

^ I see those on the site I am looking at now. I may also look at some local leather stores and see if they might carry any......

They are also great for the shooting range, robberies and aiming at people.

I'm fond of GI pilot/aircrew gloves... usually run about $30 a pair... shooting (shotgun) leather gloves are excellent as well....

I actually like wearing Mechanix FastFit gloves while driving

A couple of years ago this company came to Philadelphia, they make custom made clothing, shoes, and yes gloves. My girlfriend (who says she can never buy me anything because I buy everything I want), wanted to get me a gift, so we went they measured my hands and made me two pair (brown/black) of driving gloves. They were insanely expensive and I have worn them a grand total of once. They ended up making the wheels feel slippery, could be the leather they used was just a little too soft.

Not a fan of driving gloves in a car, unless it's cold of course. :leaving:

Check out your local HD dealer. Great choice in high quality riding gloves. The light weight perforated summer gloves would be perfect for driving.

Driving gloves? Really?

I wear a pair of generic ones at the track. But that's only because my hands sweat like crazy and I don't enjoy having a slip and slide for my steering wheel.
