My good friend, long time Corvette owner and forum member, Bill Fleckenstein, is in the hospital in Inverness, FL today for bypass surgery.

Bill has helped countless Corvette owners (including me) over the years. He's a tough old bird and I'm sure he'll do fine...

I know you all will wish him well:cheers:

Good Luck Bill !!!

Like you said, I'm sure he will do well. A few friend of mine have had bypasses, and they're all OK.

Wow!

Sorry to hear that, but as noted that's a pretty routine surgery these days. Hope Bill is back on the road soon! :steering:

Will do. Like most of us older gents he's a crusty old guy and doesn't like too much of a fuss made over him...but, still, its always good to know folks care:thumbs:

Skip the flowers and post Corvette pictures in his room. They aid in recovery.

Canuck62 04-09-2016 09:45 AM

All the best to ya Bill
my neighbor and golfing buddy went through the same surgery.. he is doing very well and back kicking my butt on the golf course

Bill is quite a clever guy. He designed, debugged and runs a hybrid fuel injection system on his '62. Looks pretty much like a Rochester but has electronic guts and brains...

csysman 04-09-2016 09:51 AM

Hope you have a speedy recovery

jasonsamara 04-09-2016 09:55 AM

Hope you heal quick. Everyone I know that has had this done feels like a new person afterwards.

Brian VH McHale 04-09-2016 09:59 AM

All the Best Bill.

Should he have done his own bypass? In a more serious note, get well Bill. Your friends and car await you. Dennis
