Anyone spraying an MSD intake with a 102mm plate? Come inside

Just ordered a ported MSD intake to sit atop my forged piston ls7. Swapping from an OEM intake, TB and a 90mm plate to the MSD, nw102 and a 102 plate. Going to be bumping the shot up from a 150 to a 200 pill.

Looking to see how much people are spraying through the front and how the plugs look distribution wise. I guess the MSD runners are a bit more in the path of the opening than the FAST so I was to curious to see if that's impeding flow in any way. Probably reading more into this than needed but I'd love to hear some results.

Well I'm not going to say it won't make a difference, but the fast is very similar in design with the runners and that's been a non issue, I'm about to do the same thing spraying a 200-250 through a plate on a MSD intake as well.

I don't really expect and issue but you never know. Now that more and more of these manifolds are out there and I've seen a handful of pics of plates installed i'm just looking for some results.

Doing the same thing. In the process of putting forged 12:1 pistons and ARP hardware into the short block.
Running a Mamo'd MSD, NW102, and E85...planning on a 200-250 shot using a plate system.

No problem with the plate kits but for bigger shots we recommend the Direct Port.
Let me know if I can help anybody out with a kit.

Could you PM me a cost for a single stage direct port similar of what is depicted on the pic?

What is the turn around time from the time you guys receive the intake?

Bumping this. Have my ported MSD sitting in the house waiting to go on. Anyone with some feedback from a plate kit?

inspector12 10-20-2016 10:18 PM

Couldn't fit a plate on there with an EWP so I'm trying a dry nozzle setup but not finished yet.

Yeah just a small 200 or 250 shot.

Direct port is the only way to go when talking 200+ shot. Running a standalone fuel system is also suggested. I have seen successful use of the plate on the MSD at 200 shot. Bolt it on and get with a good tuner. Learn how to read spark plugs.

I generally agree with the DP but Absolutely no room for me, without making some major changes. But I am doing a dry shot so I won't have any issues. And yeah if your doing a wet kit a standalone is nice cause you can put C16 in it when your spraying the house down. I'll be running E85 so not a big concern for me.

Interesting plan for a 250 shot. Dry you say? Are you just going to run dual tunes? What fuel system/injectors are you planning on running?

Its in my 02 Camaro, but I installed twin Walbro 450's and 1400cc inj. I had left over from the vette when it was on 93. Running a Holley HP set up on it so no dual tunes just a flip of a switch and open the bottle and let it eat.

I'm a flexfuel car now, and with the LNC-2000, I'll only need my one tune to run NA E54 with spray.
