Park Lights not working on my '86 Coupe...
Okay, well I recently replaced one of my fog lamps and one headlight motor, and noticed neither of my park lights work with headlights or fog lamps on. My turn indicators work, and I am guessing those are the same bulbs. Any ideas? Where do I start with troubleshooting it? I have a multimeter, but not the best when it comes to "pin 1, pin 13" type lingo...so would appreciate the "for dummies" solution. I might add, my dash cluster is out of the car right now, though I am guessing that would not interfere, since the turn indicators work. Thanks!

Check, dissemble, clean and reassemble all the ground connections and confirm with a DVM.

There's a harness connection at the bottom of the steering column. Check that all the pins are seated, that's where my problem was.

If the rear parking lights are also not working the tail fuse is probably blown.

Same bulbs. Different filaments. The turn indicator bulbs are dual filament and have one filament for the parking lights and a different filament for the turn indicator.

Another good spot to check. Know where I might find a pic for the location of that harness? Thank you!

Just look under the dash at the end of the column, it's a pretty big pigtail you can't miss it.

Inside the engine bay, or the interior of the car? If it's in the engine bay, will I see it from on top? Thank you!

Interior, just drop the panel under the drivers side dash.

I bet they're pretty dirty. A good consideration. Know where I could find a pic/diagram of the ground locations? Thank you!
