TTS Data Master no longer supports GM vehicles

About 2 weeks ago I tried to install TTS Datamaster on my Windows 10 computer. After spending the better part of a day discovered Windows 10 doesn't work. So I found another computer on eBay that arrived today with Windows 7, while installing Datamaster got the message that it was no longer supporting GM vehicles.
Any other programs that work for data logging a 93 LT1?

If it's an LT1, then my app (Scan9495) should work because it also does the 93 F-car LT1. The 93 Y-car has the same data set as an F-car, for which Scan9495 was written. It has several actuators also, but I am not sure those work on a Y-car. It also has ABS and SIR capability, but I haven't checked to see if those Y-car modules are the same as an F-car. It uses the same cable and pc setup as TTS Datamaster. I would be interested to find out how everything works on your car. Best of all, it's completely free!

By the way, Datamaster does work on Windows 10. But you would have to install an old version that only has 30 uses. I do have some information about using an even older version (3.4?) that runs on XP only and that can be made to give unlimited use.

Scan9495 V2-5-1.zip

also get the user guide pdf file

If anyone reading this has a pc with Windows XP, this may not work. Win 7 or later only.

Download the zip file and extract all files from it. Run the scan9495.exe file. You may get a warning message asking if it's ok to use this file. Select yes anyway.

Right click on Datamaster ICON on desktop and it allows you to run it in Windows 7 compatibility. Version 4.01 is the one I have on my laptop. Works fine.

TunerPro also works as a datalogger. There is ALDLDroid which works on android and uses the definition files from TunerPro..

Both are great solutions

This presents a pricey but possibly much easier solution to a problem I've been trying to solve. Several of the backlight incandescent bulbs behind the buttons across the bottom have burned out. While I have purchased replacement bulbs (very cheap), I'm not sure I want to chance breaking the pushbuttons while disassembling them, snipping out the burned out bulbs, and soldering in their replacements. If I buy a remanufactured unit for half the original list price, I will have to send mine back to them as a core. Sounds like a good plan to me.
