Electrical Connectors Needed

I've searched everyplace I know and cannot find the two conductor round connectors used for the headlight unit open switches. See: https://willcoxcorvette.com/corvette...tor-68-82-used

Am collecting all of the parts I need for some electrical upgrades to my '79 and these are the final things I need but cannot find.

Any idea of a source?

I know there are various corvette only salvage yards around the U.S. have you tried them?

You'll have to find good used ones. Very few pigtails, connectors or electrical terminals are available individually. The harness companies rarely sell them separate, they prefer to sell you a complete harness.

Check with Willcox Corvette.... they often have used parts, and I`ve seen electrical connectors listed before. Though I don`t know what their current inventory is, I`d call them first.

Have you tried Doc Rebuild/..Jim

#2 Haven't tried Corvette salvage places yet.

#3 I know that the harness manufacturers are rather jealous of their connectors. They are however likely still made.

#4 The link I posted was from Willcox and they are currently out of stock.

#5 I guess Doc Rebuild is worth a call. I can't find it in their catalog.

Does anyone know if this weatherproof connector with a rubber boot on the outside? If so any idea which Packard series it would be from? It's definitely not in the 56 series.

Also is it the same as used on the alarm anti-tamper switch on a '79? If so I could order a couple of the door alarm harnesses as they're small and cheap.

Send me an email reminder to jhudec2001@yahoo.com. I have an old front harness that I got from another forum member as I needed several connectors to make a few repairs to my original harness. If the headlight switch connectors are still there you can have them. It may take me a week or so as I am out of town though.
Regards,
Joe
