Script Error
I'm getting a script error that locks up Firefox for a minute or so. It happens on everything I click.
Script: http://cdn.viglink.com/api/vglnk.js:21 |
I have been getting those off and on for weeks, but today, the forum is almost completely unusable! I can not get on for more than a minute or two before my browser locks up completely.
It was a major effort to even log on long enough to post this. Regards, John McGraw |
Fixed it! Went and loaded "yesscript" add-on for my Firefox, and set it to not run any scripts when on WWW.corvetteforum.com
Problem is now resolved and will never return. No more banner ads either! Regards, John McGraw |
Well it's not fixed on IE. Every time I click on something or try to scroll it locks up with 'long running script'. :smash:

Seems to be something that is happening only to CF. No other website I have been to shows any sort of "script error" popup.
I can't see adding something to my FF Version when the problem seems to exist in only one website. While typing this, FireFox just updated to a new version 48.0.2 Wonder if this fixed things.... |

FF allows for script debugging from that popup window. Hopefully the IB Tech people are looking at it and trying to get a fix in place.

The issue is with an ad partner's javascript. It is not specific to CorvetteForum and reports from other websites have been noted today alone.
We're investigating the issue. Thanks.

I disagree......I was having the same issue on the Jaguar Forum earlier today. |
VIGLINK is the issue. Noscript once again for the win on firefox.

So far, it appears to be OK today.
