Updating Aeros?

Forum: We had a great thread going on C3 aeros, I learned a lot. The bottom line for me was 300 hp to go 160 mph and 600 to go 200 mph. I'm thinking those are rwhp and at least the PC aero kit to help?

The 200 mph Le Mans cars had a cow catcher in the front and a small lip in the back.

The PC kit was a fairly standard air dam in the front and about a 4in spoiler @ 45* in the rear.

Now the auto X cars are running a 12 in Plexiglas spoiler in the rear and a nice looking splitter in the front.

I would think the modern splitter combined w/6" spoiler laid back to about 60* would improve cd and downforce.

Has anyone seen some updated C3s at the track?

Looks About Right!

lvrpool: Is your rear spoiler the result of testing? Or is it what you think is best?
It looks about right to me, maybe a little less angle, take it back to a 45* or so.

Looking good.
