Admin ? Established ?

What does a Established member mean? I want to be able receive and send PM. What are the qualifications ? Do I have to be a donating member ? Thanks

With over 1600 posts, you should be able to PM people.

Might want to post your question in the Help section of the Forum. :thumbs:Unless something is wrong in your profile or some setting, you should certainly be able to send and receive PM's.

Go to USER CP.

Then go to SETTINGS & Options and then EDIT OPTIONS.

Scroll down to Private messages.

Ensure Enable Private Messages is checked.

The scroll all the way to the bottom and SAVE CHANGES.

I have the exact same problem...
However, when I try to follow 8VETTE7's directions, I don't have a PM box to check or enable.

I hve emailed the administrator, but haven't received any replies yet.

Any other suggestions (I realize I am new here)

You're just too new. Also to the OP, make sure your message section is cleared from time to time.

With only 4 posts so far, you will have to post more in order to be able to use the PF function. At some point, you will become "Established" as a member and then the use of PM's will be set up for you. Apparently the "Established" criteria is not something that is defined as a specific number of posts and is not publicly shared.

Look at the RED bar across the middle of the page. All the way to the left it says USER CP in white letters on that bar....................

if he's looking at the forum on a mobile version you cannot see the tools at the top of the page you need to make changes. you need to go to the full site.

You haven't been here long enough and don't have enough posts yet to be able to use the PMs. You can read them, but not post with them.

Guess that would explain a lot...
Maybe same reason it occasionally won't let me reply to posts as well
Any clue If/When I will get that privilege ??
Thanks

Quite honestly, I don't know what the exact limit is. Even if I did, I would not post it in open forum. Some new members are spammers.

That makes even more sense. I'll be patiently awaiting someone's blessing !!:lurk:
