Track performance : GS MRC vs Z51 T1 Suspension
I would be interested to know track performance between GS and Z51 with T1 assuming both using same tire despite the fact GS has some advantage due wider tires. The reason I am asking is because a "track" suspension like T1 could have some advantage over MRC as could be tuned towards track and MRC is much better due its great performance around the block but still need to compromise as daily driver.
I have note below from X25 user from previous thread "I had the very same idea, and bought a brand new Z51 and also got the T1 kit. That said, I'm not sure if GM is serious with T1's future. The front/rear shocks' part numbers that come with the kit are marked as 'superseded', which is fine, but they are actually superseded by a new part number that is also the new number shown for 'standard' FE3 Z51 shocks. How can a shock designed as a compromise for the street with a bit of bias for track be an ideal one for a serious and expensive kit like T1? I would love to hear from Tadge about this. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/...post1592919395" |
I was going to include this but decided against it for this round. The question needs to be cleaned up. You're asking about 4 or 5 different things with this one. Trim it down to a single question (without quoting other people) and we'll reconsider it.
