installation of 1996 front license plate

Please show and tell me how to take off the front license plate bumper cover and install the front license plate.

Look through the crack in between the filler and the bumper cover on the bottom. You should find 2 small screws there IIRC on their location. Remove them, pull the cover out from the bottom and it should come off. You may or may not find license bolts in there - bolt on your plate.

That's about it.

Is there a translucent cover? In NJ we have to have a front plate, I had a T/A and had a smoked cover. It was a limited run and I got one of the last.

Anyone sell a similar cover? Without it it breaks up the lines

Thank you, hcbph. Used Torx T15 to remove the two screws from where you said they were. Had to hold the filler while removing the screws to keep my tool in the screws. There were no license plate bolts in their holes. Looks at though the previous owners never used a front plate. After reading the posts about running a front plate, I'm going to err on the side of not giving anyone reason to stop me.
