WTB Factory Nav '09 and later

I would like to purchase the factory nav for a '09 or later that has Bluetooth. I think anything from '09-'13 works. I am in NC and willing to have shipped. IF you have any info on what works/doesn't work when doing this conversion, I will take any advice! I know I will have to bring it to a dealer to enable it.

I appreciate it guys.

The nav will not give you Bluetooth.

Check out this post for what you need:

You will have a hard time finding that first item on the list. I got lucky and managed to find one cheap on eBay, but I don't see any listed right now. I did this in my 2008 without any issue. If you have an 06-08 then you will need an 09+ radio (can be nav or a regular unit). If you have an 05, I believe you will need a new clockspring for your steering wheel as well.

I added a 2011+ nav because the 2011+ navs have the USB port capability. I added a 2011+ center console as well to accommodate it. Glad to help if you decide to go this route.

Alternatively, you can add a Costar Bluestar which is simpler:

The only problem is you won't have native steering wheel controls. You will have to use the controls on the rear view mirror. Do some searching on the forums about this for more info.

Thanks Frankie15 for the info. My Z06 is a 2009, so if I get a Nav radio that is '09 and later, it is plug an play (minus the dealer activation part), right? Again, thanks for your time and info!!!!

No problem! The nav setup will not be plug and play if you do not currently have a nav setup. Check this from Ray Kawal:

http://www.kawal.net/USB%20Nav.htm

You would need the nav, GPS antenna, and harness from his site. You will need an additional harness if you do not have the premium Bose audio. Not sure if those are standard in the Z06. You just wouldn't need the USB cable and center console he mentions in there unless you go with a 2011+ nav. You don't need to use the PN# he uses in that write-up unless you want the nav with USB.

What is your end goal with getting an 09+ nav? Do you just want Bluetooth?

I do have an 09 nav headunit if you are still interested. Everything worked on it when I took it out four months ago. I also have the gps antenna, 09 nav discs, and a PAL unit that I was using with it.
