Do you have an M7 or A8 ?
What do you drive, manual or automatic? As for me I drive a manual and wouldn't have it any other way. After a year of driving an automatic CTs-v I vowed never to buy another automatic sports car again. Just wasn't any fun for me. I felt like it took a lot of the driving experience away. Thats just my opinion and I am in no way saying anything bad about the automatics out there.

This is a sports car, where's the fun in a A8....

Never saw that thread kinda makes this one pointless lol

Obviously, CF members are much more likely to purchase manuals than the general population as reflected in C7s built to date (73% auto, 27% manual). |

LOL, no problem! Lot's of repeats on this topic. . . Personally, I have had a couple 4 speed manuals, a 5 speed Audi, a 6 speed 911 . . . but my last car was a DCT Audi S5. Decided I could, indeed, get by with shifting optional. Personally, (and it is a personal decision for sure) I like the option of manually shifting or auto-shifting my A8. |
Surprised I never saw it.

Can't vote, I have an A6...
|
In poll last month (linked above), I included both the A6 and A8 as the same category, but it's now closed. Nonetheless the automatic votes in that poll should have reflected both.

Neither. An M7 is a BMW and an A8 is an Audi. The transmission in my Corvette is a manual.

M7 got to love it, , grab those gears no lift shift, rev match all good.

The fun is pulling away from the M7 guys in a flat-out sprint to 100 mph. :D

An automatic paddle shift comes nowhere near The fun factor of a manual.:willy: Currently I am on a trip renting a car with an automatic paddle shift transmission. The left paddle down shifts, right paddle up shifts. Heck, the darn thing down shifts automatically while slowing and it will not let you up shift under conditions when you should be able to. Another thing, the paddles move when turning the steering wheel, at times you can not shift because they are lost when driving in a spirited way. I have gotten disgusted and just let it shift all by itself. As for the run towards 100 mph, to close to call without an actual run off.
