:iagree: I always thought those "Glued on" flares looked stupid. They really don't do anything for extra coverage or internal clearance, because they are stuck on the outside of the original wheel well. It doesn't matter how wide the things are, the tire is going to find the original fender opening that's behind those glue-ons to be the width limitation. They're like those Japanese adhesive backed hood scoops. They don't really do anything. They're just along for the ride.

A ninth fact should be, that the convertible did not get the wider rear wheels because there would be no way of transporting a flat tire of that size in a convertible.

I counted 8.
No mention about the chrome emblems front & rear instead of black / "Grand Sport" badges on the sides of the hood, and stitched into the seats.
I've never seen a GS with a clear top either, (smoke or bronze). Is it the only model coupe that didn't have that option available? :confused2:

It is nice to see the thread that does give some good info for anyone interested in C4s.

I musta come to the party late. Only #5 out of 8 are left. Did the other 8 get deleted? Based on the "fact" stated as #5, if the others were deleted for some reason...why am I not surprised?

All 8 were still there when I just clicked on the link.
