GMPP Announcement - Discontinued

FROM: AaronBasler, Chief Actuary, & Senior Director of Products SUBJECT: Discontinuance of the GMProtection Plan Program INFORMATION The purpose of this memo is to communicate that effective December 1, 2016, the GMProtection Plan (GMPP) program will be discontinued for sale in everystate. Plans sold up through November 30, 2016 should be submitted assoon as possible. Plans with a purchase date of December 1, 2016 or laterwill not beaccepted. For all GMPP contracts sold up through November 30, 2016, therewill be no impact on the ongoing policy administration and claims processesthat are currently in place today. GM's Order Workbench application will remain open for GMPPsubmissions through January 31, 2017. After this date, eligible GMPPContract Registrations should be mailed to Ally Auto Dealer Products &Services, P.O. Box 6855, Chicago, Illinois 60680-6855 for processing. Reynolds and Reynolds and CDK Dealer Service providers will nolonger provide GMPP forms effective December 1, 2016. Additionally,all GMPP forms will be removed from the Ally eStore as of that date.
