Damn picking up a 16' Z would have been A LOT cheaper, I just picked up my 17' Z06 (Z07) for msrp $107k.

I just bought a '16 Z06 3LZ w/Z07 & A8 and am having it shipped to me from Ohio - MSRP $107k and I paid $86k. It was worth it to pay the shipping. My bank matched another advertised rate of 2.49% so I'm a happy camper (or will be once the car arrives).

I was going to wait until next year and buy a 2017 but the non-Z07 equipped car I'd built on the Chevy website would have cost me more than this!

The dealer allowed/accepted your supplier discount to be added to the tagged vehicle? Interesting...

I ask because late this afternoon a dealer with a LBR/3LZ/Z06/Z07 +++, although w/A8 (I prefer M7), offered me the car at 20% off but would not allow me to use any portion of an Educator discount or the loyalty discount. He claimed it was a 10% rebate plus 10% of his money and that was all I could expect.

He even claimed that if I were to order a 2017 (not likely with the forum dealers here and ready to deal) and used an Educator discount, that he was not allowed to sweeten the pot with additional discount, so to speak,

Winter is coming and northern dealers need to sell or else they will be holding till April/May....

For a 16 z06 in the $95k+ range I would not buy if it was not a min 20% discounted... 17s are already showing on the lots and they need to move the 16s.

Oh, and I took my z06 out today for the first time and this beast is just truly amazing. Prior owner of 08 vette and 13 ZL1.

If you buy off the lot, most of the forum dealers are offering some form of discount.

The dealer was a small dealer in IL. He has no vettes on his lot now. I think they are more of a small country/farm town that sells low volumes of vettes and this was sitting on his lot a long time. Build date was Nov/2015.

I did alot of car, carguru, autotrader, etc searching every night for months and this one popped up as new advertised. MSRP was 99k and they were selling for 78k. I told them the car was not exactly what I wanted in options and that I had a supplier discount and made them a lower offer thinking we would negotiate. He immediately took the offer which shocked me and I put a deposit on it asap and rushed to get all the paper finalized. If he used the discount or not I am not sure but I did give him my generated discount code.

I think they just wanted to get rid of it and my nightly research paid off.
