CZ.R Stickers/Decals?

I was curious if anyone has a CZ.R sticker or Decal set in production, it might be cool to see a Z06 matching the general looks of the race car.

This is exactly what I am trying to find out from a dealer that has a killer deal on a leftover CRY.

How about just buy a C7.R?

Simple...

A new C7.R goes for, or went for, about 123 or so. I am in negotiations on a almost maxed out 2016 CRY for 76. So, for only 45k more, I can get me a real, honest to goodness, C7.R... :ack:

I don't think so. Especially, when, I believe, the only difference is some decals, a little paint and stitching on the headrests. Oh, were the different floor mats too?

I like the look of a C7.R, best way to dress out a CRY in MY opinion, I 'm just not willing to pay the premium.

^^^^ I agree it's not that much different to warrant that cost, but seriously, you want to be a poser? The stickers were put on a certain number of cars for a reason, so some people would pay a premium to have one. I have seen some fool here in MN that put them on a red C7 and anyone who knows C7's knows it's not real. So will you put a ZR1 badge on your C7 to get it to "look" like a ZR1 if they ever come out?:crazy2:

Here is a pic of the poser....

Oh no. Next you're going to tell me that GM used all the body styling, suspension and brakes from the Z06, gave it 190 less horsepower and put some badging on it to sell more units.

Put the stickers on your car however you want.......hell GM's doing it. LOL

Thanks for that.

Do you actually tell people it's a C7.R? In the pictures I posted you can't really see it, but that is a car show entry form and he actually states C7.R. Kinda sad...

I get it, put on all the stickers and badges you want as it's your car. It's posers that actually tell people it's something it's not I lose respect for.

I'm pretty sure this is the C7.R, and all the street legal ones are just "editions" AKA "posers" I have liked some anniversary and pace car decal packages in the past but to me the "R Edition" is nothing I would want. I would pay less for one then a car optioned the way I wanted it, maybe the guy with the red one feels the same way???

MSG C5 12-14-2016 07:51 AM

I don't get it. A guy installs a Jake hood stinger, matching stripe, Chevrolet Bow Tie and Corvette windshield decals and he is a C7-R poser? I don't think the red Z06 looks anything like the C7-R or the C7-R special package street version. Even if someone wrote in C7R on his show card, it may have been an honest mistake. The owner has racing harnesses matched up with the Comp Seats so the car probably sees some track time and he's just trying to make the car look more unique. I would never look at that car and think the owner is trying to promote the car as something it's not. Not like some in the C5 crowd I've seen over the years who slapped Z06 fender badges on non-Z06 FRCs or coupes and tried to pretend their car was something it wasn't.

Correct. I forgot about the human stupidity factor of not actually knowing what you have ;)

Isn't the C7R from GM just stickers and embroidery? So how's the OP the poser?

How? Let's see...GM comes out with a special version with special stickers, bit and pieces and charges more money for it. People say, well I don't want to pay the extra price for a limited version called the C7.R..... Oh I know...I'll just get stickers and pretend I have a C7.R....that is how you become a poser. Pretty simple.

PolishDude 12-14-2016 01:43 PM

eh i dont think so, poser is switching out grills on a grand sport to make it say z06 imo
