Youtube Vloggers with C5 corvettes

Hey guys don't know how many of you guys like watching project cars on youtube, but I decided to go ahead and share some links of people who have a c5 project car and attach a little video of them so you guys can get a taste:

Tyler Fialko- He is the kid that is chopping up his C5 to be slammed. he also has a c5 Z06 that he hasn't done anything with yet.
https://www.youtube.com/user/MorbidKitKat1/videos

Froggy- He is a forum member who has great how to videos on the c5 he is more geared to AutoX
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCex...a_-QEJZn3hYj4w

Taylor Ray- He works for BC Racing, a shop out of florida that specializes in drifting suspension and parts of that nature, he just picked up a C5 that he is going to be drifting with
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNq...LNeBV5cF3yKY8A

Jamal' Garage- Relatively new to the youtube thing, but he has some good content and is going through and doing basic bolt ons on his Z06
https://www.youtube.com/user/jamjamMH5

These are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. Does anybody else have any good people on youtube to follow? Post it in the thread!

Here's another........ It blows my mind with all the advertising junk (although paid for and somewhat necessary to keep the forum running) and ads we have in practically all sections that these folks don't post their own videos on forums. That is a HUGE section of the market they are leaving out (that is if they want to make a living or income on YT)

Cameron Mattison'c Channel...I have seen him post a few times here and his channel is interesting...

I gave a lot of credit to that Fialko kid...he picked up the C5 Coupe for 6k LOL

his Miata on the other hand is absolutely ridiculous...yet I cant stop watching LOL

Take ANYTHING you see on maintenance or other procedures on YouTube or the like with a grain of salt AND obviously at your own risk. I take note of the environment around when I look to a video or similar for how-to or info on a project.

Is the shop/area clean?
Is it busy/high-volume shop?
Is it a hobbyist in a nice garage?
Do they use quality tools?
Do they have specialty tools when needed, or do they just wing or hack it?
How old are they participants?
Do they speak knowledgeably? Do they refer to items by name, or "just pull this thingy out of the way" ?
Do they know how to jack up a Corvette?
Do they know proper torque specs and do they use proper torque wrenches and the like?Is their project well laid out, or just kind of fly by night?

Starting a procedure and this is the first thing you show to get ready for it...
...is a huge red flag for me: (from another Corvette Vlog I came across)

Yeah I at first thought he was silly for cutting up the vette, but now I'm totally watching it because hey it's a c5 and I think it could come out sweet

A couple of local guys(they have a youtube vlog as well) from my area headed out to see Tyler. He took one of them on a couple of pulls with both Vettes.

Have been using Froggy's videos for a while now. Great repair advice!

I guess I'll throw my name in the hat...

I have a few Youtube videos where I show my C5 projects...

Wrapping some parts for my custom C5 headlights in real carbon fiber:

Build documentation of my custom headlights:

And a rather old video of my Ti exhaust bypass mod:

I have a few other upcoming projects for the C5 that will make their way onto my channel :)

Hey man,

I'm not on here very often but I just found this thread. I just wanted to thank you for sharing my channel! I know I don't do everything perfect but I enjoy making videos and try to do whatever I can to help people out and maybe save some money along the ways.

Thanks again!
Jamal

Who cares if the garage isn't clean and if they have "non quality tools" every good mechanic has plenty of cheap tools they don't give a shit about. I have hundreds of high dollar quality tools but that doesn't mean the cheap needle nose pliers I might use have negative impact on the work. I have cheap ratchets I use for breaking stubborn bolts loose instead of breaking my nice ones. I have a $100 powdercoating gun that's produced several show quality finishes.

What matters is the man holding the tools.
