I got mine from Jerry MacNeish. I got the complete system with hoses and clamps. It is all date correct and correct finishes on every part. Very nice work. I paid $1,980.00 shipped. That was back in 2009 though. He will also make functional or non-functional. There is no difference by looking at it.

Hi Rich
most restorers will use aftermarket parts. ie non original smog bracket without the fisher logo, repro fan, repro smog pulley, repro smog hose, repro diverter adapter
What is your budget, if you want original stuff those parts are hard to come by. But again not sure what you want.
You can email me grantwong@telus.net
Thanks, Grant

Smog Pump

I probably have what you need, I have NOS white fans, or originals, in mint condition. I have original, or aftermarket brackets. I have diverter valves NOS or Original, along with original hoses and clamps. I can rebuild it to function or not, If your looking to spend the money for the system, I would suggest it works. Guaranteed to pass any NCRS or Bloomington Judging. Let me know if your interested, Joe

To All,

Vettehead9 rebuilt my 68 smog pump. It is PERFECT, complete with proper inspection marks. It looks and functions as factory new.

Hi,

3 Attachment(s)
I have the pump, fan and pulley. All original dated 362 day of 1968. The pump turns nicely. I can rebuild the pump and put new front bearing in it. The rear bearing is fine. I can make it functional or non functional. It would look very nice. Not cheap though. $1000 for all that as is. It would be a little more if I rebuild it with new parts.

I just added some pictures of a 68 bb system that I put together. This one is dated something around January or Feb. It is very original system with original clamps and original injector manifolds, original gulp valves, original 68 pump, original diverter valve, etc. All in very nice condition. Hoses are very nice but have no numbers on them. I would appreciate opinions on its actual value.

Where to go.

If you want stuff that is very original, it is hard to find. Personally, I avoid Crane. Vettehead9 has worked with me and is a good guy. Bill Hodel has been good and can build you what you want but it will be top dollar. But, I think he will tell you what you are getting.

All depends on how original you want to get. I would buy that pump and pulley from me, and then talk to Vettehead and pick up the rest of the parts. The expensive stuff is the diverter valve and if you want original injector manifolds, they will be hard to find. I have the gulp valves if you need those and they are in very nice condition, like new. Just getting rid of stuff but not willing to give it away.

Don't get in a hurry. :lurk:
