Whaddya think...keep original Z51 wheels or go for the Z06 style?

I know, I know....it's my car and do what makes me happy. I'm just looking for other opinions on this. I put a set of Z06 style wheels on the C5 I had a few years ago and liked them a lot.

So whaddya think? Don't wanna be a 'poser'...no Z06 badges or wide fender conversions or anything like that....

I like the Z06 wheels best.I think they look better than the Z51 wheels.

I like the Z51 wheels. The Z06 wheels are a great design but without the concave look, they aren't as nice...

I also like the ZO6 wheels. Are they the exact same size as the Z51 wheel ? Thanks

The Z51 wheels would be easier to keep clean (less spokes to worry about), but the Z06 wheels look better IMO. Though choice.

The Z06 wheels, I have a new home for the Z51 wheels and would be glad to take them off your hands :)

Like them both! I have Z06 style wheels for my summer tires....Z51 for winter tires...

I like both, but since you already own the Z51 wheels and seem to like them I say keep them.

And if you do go Z06 wheels I vote black :)

My vote is for the Z51 wheels. They have a nice clean easy design that compliments the car.

I don't care for the design on the Z06 wheels.

I like the z06 style better. The tires from z51 won't fit stock original z06 rims because the z06 rims are wider. You can getting aftermarket reproduction z06 rims. If anyone knows of a good quality after market chrome reproduction z06 rims please share.

I like the Z51 wheels, they look really nice and clean on your car. The Z06 wheels look a bit cluttered if that makes any sense.

I like the Z06 wheels better. But for the cost I don't see the incremental value in switching.

The reproduction z06 wheels are heavier and not as strong as stock . They are also the same size....I see no gain in them.

Love the Z06 wheels! I'll be snatching up a set when I have some disposable cash.

Z06 wheels are a PIA to clean. Keep the Z51.

My vote is for Z06 wheels. In fact ordered a set in chrome finish for my Admiral Blue coupe (DocZ had the best pricing). They are due here Wednesday. I wrestled with this decision for about 2 weeks as my concerns were the extra work cleaning and polishing.

The Z06 wheels are going to be more work to keep clean and shiny, but they bring the car up another level as far as class and bling is concerned. They seem to really pop on darker colored cars. In addition, they separate the car from looking like every other Corvette with the same stock wheels.

Check with DocZ who is a forum vendor. When I ordered mine he had the best pricing. But I also live just two states away.
