How much is too much when it comes to customizing the American icon? This wild C7 Corvette certainly pushes the boundaries.

That Vette is owned by Streetspeed717 who is a pretty popular Youtuber... It was a wrap he put on for when he takes his Z06 to show at Motorama.

I like certain portions of it but overall it is way too busy for my taste.

I actually like it. Pretty cool looking.

Would I drive it? No.

If people don't like GS stripes, they're really not gonna like this.

I would like it better if the shapes were in a camo pattern . WW2 US or German Tiger .

Actually the guy that owns it got his inspiration from the Naval ships of WW2 that used funky patterns to throw off the enemy. He talks about it on his Youtube video when he reveled the wrap. If I remember correctly his grandfather was in WW2 and he did it to honor him.

StreetSpeed's inspiration for this pattern came from I believe his grandfather who was in the Navy during WWII. Back then ship used almost identical patterns across many different types of warships and cargo ships from multiple countries to mask the size, shape, speed, and direction of travel of the warships to confuse the opposing for.
love the pattern, great to see something different and unique on the road, even better than his last tie die pattern.

Love it!

It goes well with the angular lines of the C7......I like it.

kenownr 03-03-2017 03:31 PM

I like it -- but like Boost above -- I don't think I'd drive it -- would certainly be a cop magnet

I like it except for the pink part. I'm thinking of doing a wild wrap on my car. Been tossing around some ideas.

spireland 03-03-2017 05:08 PM

I liked his first crazy wrap, though this one doesn't do it for me. That being said, to each their own.

I'ts just a vinyl wrap which can be easily removed.

For last year's Motorama he did a tie dye wrap:

At least it is just a wrap but I still would not drive it.

Frank4202 03-05-2017 08:41 AM

Looks like a gay zebra.

Bruce Jarrett 03-05-2017 11:08 AM

My choice of colors may be different on this one and my choice of patterns may be different on the first one but I like seeing variety and creativity . I like people to know my car when they see it. Even if I thought that his designs were perfect I wouldn't copy it because that's his design not mine. This comes from a long time Harley rider that no two should ever look alike.

2 words come to mind:
