2001 c5 -
want to replace the run flat tires on my c5 - what is the best tire for cruising out in the country side
|
There are a number of very good tires that you can use. My favorite at the moment is the Hankook Ventus V12 EVO tire. It has very smooth ride, low road noise, very good handling and is very reasonably priced.
|
The Continental ExtremeContact DW has always been rated one of the most comfortable high performance tires, and the Sport that replaced it is supposed to be marginally stiffer.

There's more threads on tires than anything else.

This is where everyone jumps in and tells what tire they are running.
Better then the above, go to the on line site....TireRack.com They are a supporting Form member. I have used them for many years. The site will compare different brands and types of tires for different types of driving and have the best prices and service anywhere. |

I have the BF Goodrich g-Force Sport Comp2 and would get them again. I have also had and recommend the Nitto 555 Extremes and would get them again as well. |
I vote for Michelin PS1 ZPs
|
Another vote for Hankook

I've been using Michelin Pilot. By the time you pay shipping and installation from Tire Rack you can cut a deal at a tire shop. One time it was only $50 more for 4. In fact, the Chevy dealer gave me a great price this last time.
