I sad to announce that my friend tommy downey, forum name bluzrocker died unexpectedly in his sleep yesterday afternoon. He wasn't sick.
His pride and joy was his black big block convertible. Way better than rotisseri restoration. He was a fanatic about his car. I learned alot from him.

he was a very good guy and will be missed.

Although I never met Tommy, we chatted a bit about cars, and his interest in possibly relocating to the area I live. His enthusiasm about Corvettes, music and people was inspirational. I would have liked to have gotten better acquainted.
