Calling all doctors- fellow med student lost his mom
 

Hey there,

I don't know if this is appropriate to post or not. If not, it can be removed. I'm a 2nd year medical student at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and my friend just lost his mom to cancer yesterday. We have our board exam this month and start rotations the following month. Needless to say, an already stressful situation has been made infinitely more difficult.

My class is trying to help him raise money to cover funeral costs. I thought posting this here might cross the eyes of a couple doctors out there who remember what the stress of Step 1 was like who might have some spare change to help out future physician.
