TPS C5 & C6 Powder Coated & 100% Rebuilt Calipers & brackets-FREE SHIPPING!

C5 & C6 Powder Coated Rebuilt Calipers-from $339.99 FREE SHIPPING!
CALIPERS ARE 100% REBUILT WITH NEW BOOTS AND SEALS!
-Brakes are a safety issue and we take YOUR safety very seriously. We DO NOT USE ANY OLD/ USED BOOTS or SEAL.

Our powder coating process has 2 coats of powder coating applied to each caliper and bracket which hides alot of the casting imperfections on the caliper. We can also powder coat your own calipers. If you are interested in purchasing a set of TPS Powder Coated Calipers OR having your calipers powder coated please contact us. A $400 core charge will be applied when order is placed and your old calipers must be sent back to us to receive your core charge back. Cores must be in good condition without damage.

Caliper brackets are powder coated so the pads can "float" freely in the bracket
-When caliper brackets are painted or powdercoated you MUST make sure the area where the pads sit are free of excessive powder coating. If there is excessive powder coat it will cause your brakes to bind.

Please take a look at our caliper bracket on the right as it is free of excess powder coating in areas where the pads sits... allowing it to "Freely Float" and NOT BIND.

Do you also use a clear coat over the powder coat? Im in Chicago and will be storing car outside during winter so it will get some salt residue on them I'm curious how they will hold up.

Depends on the color... BUT with that being said we have done EASILY over 500 sets of calipers and we have NEVER had ANY issue with durability.

I can guarantee you they will look alot better than stock calipers being exposed to salt. The key to making sure they last when exposed to salt is to get the salt off the calipers as soon as you can.... don't let the salt sit on the powder coat for weeks on end

Great Product / Vendor bump.

Well, I can say Mike's got at least one set of cores currently for C6 z51 (unless already gone).

Just replaced mine with illusion orange calipers from TPSM on DSOM car. Wasn't sure it'd be a good fit, but turned out quite nice. DSOM can be a tricky color. Originally ordered black, but while waiting for Mike to get more cores ended up changing per his recommendation. Very pleased with end result.

Mike texted pic while speaking on phone after just getting calipers back from Powder Coating shop (called me to talk over lettering [went with black])...

Just took this pic a few minutes ago in garage (didn't take many during install)...

https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...e1ad87e23e.jpg

Took several weeks to get turned around, as has most other custom mods purchased from site vendors. Worth the wait IMO. Quality product, great personal service.

Thanks Mike!

Andy did you happen to get any pics with them right next to the paint to see how close the color matches? I have a DSOM also and have been wanting to do this forever now just worried about the color.

Hello Aaron,
I did not get pics while holding next to paint, but they'd vary according to light if I had. As you know DSOM is somewhat of a chameleon, can almost look copper(ish) brown on a very overcast day or fairly orange on clear / sunny day. Absolutely love the color, but it's tough to match it. And because of the characteristics, even if matched with the actual code I've seen pics of calipers that appear too dark when behind a wheel while car is in natural light.

I did take the calipers and hold them next to the paint upon first un-boxing (just no pics). Have lots of LED light in the garage, in that light it's VERY close. Much closer than I thought it'd be actually. When outsidethe calipers are slightly brighter, but I prefer that to being duller as I've seen the actual color appear.

Because I needed tires, really had to think through whether wanting to change wheels too. Have decided to make a change there as well. Only mention because going to spyder style 19/20's which will make calipers quite a bit more visible than the current C7 Z06 replicas. That was not my primary motive, have always wanted spyders in comp grey, but couldn't find any (looked a long time before purchasing the C7 Z06 replicas). Found some close in the Niche Misano's that'll fit. On order now.

I'll get some better pics when wheels get swapped and send them to you. Here's some in natural light that I currently have...

Illusion Orange / DSOM

Hello Aaron,

Got the wheels installed last night. Here's pics so you can see a little better as the new wheel gives more exposure to the caliper. Was going to send PM, but seems that image functionality only allows URL pic sharing, using thread upload instead...
