Need help AA kit radiator relocation spacer sizes
Well, I bought a used AA kit and have a buddy installing it. I thought everything was in the kit but it's missing the radiator relocation spacers. I unfortunately, do not have time to order some more from AA. Any of you guys know the length and diameter for those spacers?
Your help is greatly appreciated. |
my spacers should be laying around somewhere in my garage, I'll try to remember to look in the morning when I get home...

I emailed AA last night and they promptly responded but are out of the shop until Monday. Any help is appreciated . |
According to some notes I made the front is 5/8 and rear 7/8.

They have them on the website as well

5/8 and 7/8 sounds right... I put the spacers on, and immediately was not happy how low the cradle was, so I took them back off...
Ordered a 3" cut-down radiator from dewitts... notched an inch out of mounting tabs for ac condenser... and as of currently nothing is holding top of radiator in place, its just pretty much stays where it needs to be because of water pump hose... |
Best is to lower the rad mounts on the cradle. That lowers rad without losing any ground clearance. I have posted pics multiple times. Easy to do.

Could you link where you posted the rad mount mod pics realcanuk? searched your threads but couldnt find them

I would take the spacers over a cut down radiator any day of the week. No reason to lose cooling. Modding the cradle is the way to go if needed.

I need to do this myself. I hate the spacers in there and how much lower the cradle sits. I have a full size Dewitts and their dual fans. Any clue if it'll still work and be able to use the top shroud from A&A? I might have even asked you before lol |
