Tuning recommendations for East Coast

Hey everyone, ordered my longtubes and intake yesterday, and need to start looking into who I'm going to have tune it. I'm in Northern VA, but dont mind driving a few hrs to the right shop. Any recommendations? I've already spoke with Race Proven Motorsports in DE, Diablo Formula racing in PA, and RPM in NC. Please share experiences with any of those shops as well. All 3 seemed impressive. Thanks in advance!

That's a pretty simple task, id go with the closest shop and whoever could get you in the soonest. I like Andy, but not his shop. Not fond of his shops current state and dyno situation. RPM in DE built 3 of my cars with all good results. I can't speak on the RPM in NC.

Thanks for the info! Diablo in PA is the closest, but I havent been able to find much customer feedback on them. RPM in DE, would be the next closest

Someone else recommended them as well, but I've read mixed reviews online

Whoever you use, check very, very carefully on here in CF (all gens) as well as elsewhere. There's a couple in/around Philly as well as ECS in S. Jersey.

No... They ruined my car after they supercharged it. Had to tow it to race proven to fix.

Stay away from Diablo. Go to race proven.

I second Complete Street Performance in PA. Andy has been building and tuning GM cars for a while now and knows his stuff. He worked on and tuned my '05 GTO and I couldn't be happier. I drove up to PA from Fredericksburg, VA cause he was highly recommended on the GTO Forum. He's now on here as well...

Daniels performance in Smithfield VA very good place. :flag:

:iagree:Tony's in Gaithersburg, MD did my C6. Absolutely the perfect choice. He and his team are top notch....

I vote Complete Street Performance in West Chester, PA... but I'm biased. =)

Let me know if I can earn your business. Feel free to give me a call - even though we are closed until after the New Year, I'm still trying to answer the phones and coordinate what I can.

interesting on the comments on Tony's in Gaithersburg. I had work done on my 2006 (headers back, Intake, and tune) and loved the result. I am facing a choice soon on my 2010 Z06. The work will be far different on this car (Likely heads) which is far different than the boltons I did like 2010. I call Tony tomorrow to discuss.

:iagree: Some tuners come and go, ECS has been around for almost two decades now so they are doing something right

Almost? I became a Warehouse distributor for Paxton in 1993! (so that just means I'm getting old)

ECS did a street tune on my FRC after a cam/head/header install years ago. I was very happy with the results.
