Grooving Shocks for Coil overs

Anyone know the specs for Grooving a set of Bilstiems for coilovers?

I think I found it

It might be done for that cost. You would need to groove the shocks (1" above the bottom of the shock body 0.060" deep, 0.035" wide), then get the mounts and springs. Next would be figure out installation.

I would not put old shocks on, I would send the stock Bilstein's in to be revalved, the grooves cut, and the coil over mounts put on. Last time I talked to Bilstein was in spring costs where $10 per groove cut, $40 per coil over mount kit, and $280 revalving.

I would probably buy new springs as finding the right size on all those forums probably won't happen. I read them as well and haven't see the right size plus rate so far, could have missed it though.
