My first vette (84) with a lot of issues: EGR hose?

Finally got my first Corvette today but it has a laundry list of problems. I found the EGR valve hose is missing so can someone tell me where the other end goes? A picture sure would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Randel

Here's a picture of the hose routing. Look at the lower right side for the egr stuff.

Thanks X. When it stops raining I will look at it again.

Look like the solenoid has been removed along with many parts. This will be a long project.

I guess check craig's for people parting out 84s.

EGR solenoids

I was a loss when I was looking to replace my 1988 Corvette's Solenoid. Nobody had any when I needed mine.

I found that several of the big corvette Stores like ZIP have started to carry the solenoids or replacement units that work on Corvettes.

My car has a "Normally Open" solenoid that would close when energized. knowing that I was able to source many replacements at my auto parts store.

Replace every foot of vacuum hose if you can while you are doing it (if they are brittle) and verify EGR function with a hand vacuum pump.

Good Luck with your Corvette!
