I have a unicorn C7

I haven't seen a c7 z51 stingray have anything over 550 with heads cam and full boltons. My car just dyno'd today at weapon X with 576 to the wheels and 490tq.
Mods:
ported throttle body
ported stock intake manifold
haltec intake
ARH long tube headers
flex fuel sensor
b&b exhaust
x pipe
WEAPON X stage 2 came
stock ported heads

ill be posting a video about it here soon on my YouTube channel subscribe to see the dyno video. It will be up sometime next week. Search CAR LIFE CHANNEL

Awesome numbers. Was that on 93? Ethanol?

Question is, how does it drive/feel? Is drivability good?

Dyno's are like snowflakes, no two read alike. Did you do a stock dyno pull before you updated? That's usually the best way to measure improvement.

:iagree:

Without before and after Dyno numbers under similar conditions, you have the same likelihood of having a unicorn dyno as a unicorn C7.

my car had full boltons and made 472/481 tq but that was in North Carolina I'm in Ohio and those numbers are with e85 and 93 mixed. Half and half. I'm curios if any all motors stingrays have near the hp I have

I get the car back tomorrow I'll do a video on it

I was expecting some incredibly rare/oddball option/color combo... .

Me, too because I never see any C7s equipped like mine

Mohammad, usually the term "unicorn" refers to a factory ordered car. You have a "built/modded" unicorn car, which is OK. But you might be getting your terminology mixed up.

mohammad513 06-27-2017 11:16 PM

Sorry for the confusion guys. I did mean a modded unicorn

Not to hijack this thread but this is the first time I heard the unicorn word used to describe a RARE Corvette!! So would a 2015 Atlantic Edition as only 17 were made qualify?? LOWEST RPO of ANY series Corvette!!

Interesting. I did only ONE bolt-on and got 575 to the wheels :smash:

:lol::iagree: To the OP here will not say your car is NOT truly making this number at the rear wheels. But a dyno can be made to raise r lower a number by at least 20%.

Best way to tell what the car can are cant do is take it to the track. Robert

All I'm really saying is that's impressive numbers for N/A. Eventually I'll go boost or nitrous but I want to do forged pistons before that route

Don't C7s come with 650 (crank) hp from the factory?

Sure, with the help of a supercharger. OP does not have a supercharger...
